Colour, Tile and Electrical Selections

We got our emails for colour selections.
We went for the colour selections only to find out we have no external door to the laundry. We had changed the location of the water tank and adjusted a window to suit access from the backyard to the laundry as well as going out to the company to look at what we were told was the included door, so now we need to get it all changed back.
Anyway we chose all our interal colours
We have asked for quotes on a few things as they can't give you a price on the spot.

In the Kitchen
We went for Osprey Benches in the 40mm Ceasar Stone.
Cupboards in polar white
Grey (London Fog) glass splashback
And brushed silver for the front of the island bench
We have also got quotes to extend the island bench by one 600mm cupboard, and add a box for under bench lights as well as making the fridge space 920 wide  instead of the standard 900 ( on recommendation of the local appliance store).
We wanted the under mount sink but at $1300 and with no drainer rack we went with the Pete Evans double square sinks for around $800.
We also got no handles on the overhead cupboards and upgraded the handles on the other cupboards to the hettich ones in their display which were between $20-$40 each depending on the size, a bit expensive but they look good and it's not that much.

These are our kitchen colours.

Floors and walls
Floors we have gone for the included 450mm square tiles in BOU SNO45 (after the ones we chose were discontinued).
We have gone for Taubmans silver pearle for the walls but asked for a quote on painting the whole of the media room including the ceiling.
We have also got a quote on tiling the porch which came in at about $270 probably a rip off but if we had to get someone in just for that, it'd probably be more and went for the Augusta Ice Coffee in the anti slip
The top one is the outdoor porch and the other one for inside.

Bathrooms
We had to use the same Ceasar stone as the kitchen and we went for Straight grain wenge for the floating vanities, no handles on the doors but the handles were mandatory on the drawers so we went for the standard square shiny ones.
For the floor tiles we went for the Hemp grey (which is more of a brown) and white splashback, we used the hemp grey for the skirting downstairs and 100x300 white gloss for the splashback in the laundry and powder room.
Upstairs we used the white 250x500 gloss tiles for the skirting and splashback and around the bath. We also chose a feature tile for the 2 niches (about $500 for the 2) but what they don't tell you is the silver capping for the bath and niches is not included either, an extra $207 but over the white plasticky looking ones you aren't left with a lot of options.
Tiles will be laid square with standard grout.
We got the square overhead shower head included in the main bathroom but upgraded to the track and rail square set in the ensuite for $500.
Bathrooms (upstairs)
Laundry/ powder room colours

Our electrical came in just under our provisional allowance of $5000 however we will need to buy quite a few lights, fans etc as we just got some Batton lights and junction boxes in some areas.
Being a double story we wanted to make sure all the power points, tv and data connections were in place downstairs now as it's too hard to do later.

Plans will need to be re-entered for Basix due to the water tank and window issue then it's into the developers and council. Hopefully we will get moving soon, fingers crossed :).
