So after much time and money wasted, not to mention the heartache suffered we have moved on to our third builder.
We've gone with Rawson this time so fingers crossed we get somewhere soon. So far so good, initial deposits paid just waiting plans to come back from drafting.
After much deliberation we put in our external colour selections the other day, we've gone for PGH Bricks in the cement, Monier Horizon flat profile tiles in Barramundi with Monument gutters and Surfmist fascia, downpipes, window frames and matrix board (we replaced all the other cladding with Bricks, never really been a fan of cladding). We've lashed out for a timbercoat garage door ($750 extra) in the Merbau colour. We'll probbably get a timber stain door as well but didn't need to choose that yet. And we have to have a Moroka finish so we're going for Taubmans Foxtail around the garage.
We've stuck with the classic facade, I liked it the best anyway and it was included.
We haven't really done any interal colours, chose a few upgrades at tender stage, hoping not to spend too much there, fingers crossed.
